Tricks & Hacks To Increase Your Firefox Browsing Speed 10-30x

  Creating a new  user profile for Firefox includes the following steps :-
  1. If firefox is open close it completely. (to be sure open Windows Task Manager>Processes>Firefox.exe>End process).
  2.   Open the Start > Run or just press Windows Key + R.
  3.  Now in the Run window type firefox.exe –P. Press Enter.
  4. Click the 'Create Profile...' button on the 'Firefox - Choose User Profile' window that comes up.
  5. Click 'Next >' in the 'Create Profile Wizard' window that comes up. 
  6. Type in a new name in the 'Enter new profile name' box  and click 'Finish'.
  7. Make sure that the 'Don't ask at startup' box is unchecked (you can change this later) and click the 'Start Firefox' box. Firefox will start with the new profile.
  8. The 'Firefox' - Choose User Profile' window will now appear whenever you start Firefox. 

 Now To speed up Firefox follow these steps:
  1. Type about:config in the address bar and then press Enter.And you will see a confirmation message.
  2.  Now click I'll be careful, I promise!.window will appear as shown below :-

3.Set “network.http.pipelining” to “true”.

4. Set “network.http.proxy.pipelining” to “true”.

5. set "network.dns.disableIPv6" to “true”.

6. set “plugin.expose_full_path”to “true”.

7. set "network.http.max-connections-per-server =32 .

8.  network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy =16


9.  network.http.max-connections = 64


10. network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server = 10


11. network.http.pipelining.maxrequests = 200


12.  network.http.request.max-start-delay = 0


13.  network.http.proxy.version = 1.0 


14.  Now right- click anywhere   in the about:config window and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu.  Enter nglayout.initialpaint.delay in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.
You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 0 and click OK. 

15. Right-click  anywhere select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu. Enter content.switch.threshold in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 750000 and click OKYou will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 0 and click OK. 

16.  Right-click  and select New and then Integer from the pop-up menuEnter content.notify.backoffcount in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 5 and click OK.

17. Right-click  and select New and then Boolean from the pop-up menu. Type content.notify.ontimer in the New boolean value pop-up window and click OK.You will be prompted to choose the value for the new boolean. Select true and click OK.

 18. Right-click and  select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu. Type content.notify.interval in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 750000 and click OK

19. Right-click and  select New and then Integer from the pop-up menu. Enter content.max.tokenizing.time in the New integer value pop-up window and click OK.You will be prompted to enter a value. Enter 2250000 and click OK.

 20. Right-click and select New and then Boolean from the pop-up menu. ThenEnter content.interrupt.parsing in the New boolean value pop-up window and click OK. When prompted to choose the value for the new boolean, select true and click OK.

 21. set:- “content.notify.backoffcount”: to “5
               “plugin.expose_full_path”: to “true
              “ui.submenuDelay”: to “0

22. In menu bar select Tools>Option> General  now remove default homepage" http://en-US.start3.mozilla.com/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official" by other home page like google .com.

23. now go to Advanced >General  uncheck use auto scrolling, smoothscrolling, check my spelling as i type. increase size for offline storage from 50MB to 100-150MB from network tab.

24. Go to  Update  uncheck all boxes.

25. Avoid installing  add-ons  which slow down startup time.



That's all now restart firefox .I think your drowsing speed as well as downloading speed will be much more faster thn before.
